  1. I am making using this stitch for the first time to make a baby blanket. Hopefully I explain this right,,, on row 1, you pick up and end up with 6 on your hook, the loop remaining after you pull through the 6, that loop is very loose and the chain loop is tight. Is this normal?

  2. Thank you so much for the tutorial! I am trying to make a hat for a friend's mom, and I wanted some different and challenging. Your video was easy and sample to understand. Thanks again!

  3. If you are doing this for a specific project where lets say you want 12 star stitches you need to have 24 Chains +4 more.

  4. Thanks thanks.I am beginner and I have no idea till now I was doing just simple chain crochet and because of you I learnt the star crochet.thanks my u tube teacher

  5. Thank you so much Mikey for using a thicker yarn n hook to show where the hook was suppose to be inserted. I have seen other tutorials for the same stitch and was so.lost. Could you make a tutorial for elongated fan stitch? I have seen it in non english languages and just couldn't figure out many things. You are such a good teacher I am sure it would be helpful for many like me.๐Ÿ˜Šโš˜โš˜โš˜โคโš˜โš˜โš˜

  6. "Make sure your stitches are in groups of two, then add one." So, an odd number. I think the words you're looking for are "odd number".

  7. Can you use different yarn and with out decreasing on the star pattern how do you work that out thanks michael

  8. This has been really helpful, and I really appreciate the use of the larger hook and thicker yarn to emphasize and pronounce the stitches for better visualization. Thank you!

  9. Curious because I see this a lot… Why do they say chain 2 add one instead of just saying chain 3…??? Is there a reason behind it because it throws me when they say it that way and I will out thinking I'm doing something wrong

  10. I have followed the instructions to the details but still end up one stitch less after the last star to do the HDC. Not sure why? Is the HDC to be done in the same stitch as the last loop come out of for the last star?

  11. This is so adorable! You make it so easy for this beginner! Thank you very much for teaching me (and the world) a new stitch ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

  12. You got me confused there…. first you show the yarn and say we have to match the hook to the yarn, saying the yarn asks for 5mm and then you go and show us a 10 mm hook? How does that work?

  13. My MIL and I were trying to figure this out from a book and couldnโ€™t quite get it. This tutorial helped so much! And using the larger yarn & hook really helped us see the different parts

  14. I am a newbe, I haven't made anything yet and your tutorial was so clear to me. Great job! Easy to follow, Will be following your tutorials. Thank you for the helpย with the star stich.

  15. Love your videos but is it possible to reduce the size of your banner just a scosh? It's distracting and is way to close to the hands doing the work.

  16. I have been enjoying all your tutorials and I love your joyfulness.. I have designed my own baby blanket using your star stitch video and have changed it up a bit.. Thank you for being you and not deterring us beginners into thinking that we must flow one set of rules.. You are an amazing artist and your giggle is infectious..
