How To French Braid Step By Step – Hair For Beginners | EverydayHairInspiration

Hey guys so today im going to show you how you can
french braid your own hair so i hope you like this video and let´s get into it. The first thing you wanna do is to brush your hair so your hair isn’t tangled. When you have brushed your hair, you are going to take a small section of hair on the top of your head and secure that with an elastic and this little ponytail is the first strand in your braid. i was out of my clear elastics so i had to use one
from the kitchen, which i won’t recommend that because it hurts when you have to take
it out. When you have secured the little ponytail,
you are going to take a section of hair on both sides of the ponytail, so you have 3 strands of hair like a normal braid.
now take the left strand of hair and cross it over and then take the right strand of hair and cross it
over and into the middle, just like the steps in a normal braid When you have done that, you are going to take the strand of hair on the left side and cross it over into the middle, now this part
is what makes a french braid, because you are going to take a section of hair on the side and then add it into the strand you just crossed over. after that you are going to take the strand on the right side andcross it over the middle and add some hair just like we did before and that is steps to a french braid.
So the technique behind a french braid is just like a normal braid, but every time you cross
the hair over into the middle you add some hair
and you just have to continue that until there is no more hair to add in and then just bring
the braid to the side of your neck and braid it like a normal braid When you have secured the braid, you can either pull
down the elastic on the top little bit and hide it with some hair or you can just cut
it out. So this is how you french braid, it is hard
at first, but when you get the hang of the it’s very easy. And if you dont get
it right the first few times, at least you get a good arm workout!
So i hope you liked this video and if you did then please give it a thumbs up and remember to subscribe and follow me on my social medias I will have all the links down below and I will see you guys in my next video. BYEEE!

  1. Its helps me a lot bc in the first section, i just hardly seperate it bc it hurts and my arms pained then i see this. you can tie it. So thank u a lot! :))

  2. You make it look easy. I am trying to do these braids and a Dutch braid. I don't see you have one for one strand Dutch braid down the middle of your head. Maybe that could be the next one you do? My issue is I don't know how to hold my hands. And then when I am switching hands and pulling strands under and over I struggle to hold and I have pieces that fall.

  3. Your videos are the best ever. They are so nice and simple to follow. I learnt how to braid using your channel. I couldn’t braid at all and this helped me a lot. I just want to thank you for taking the time to make these videos 😘
