Once you are satisfied with the design generate your stitching. Now that the design is complete, let’s save the file. Go to the top ribbon and select file. Rather than choosing save select save as. Once the Save As dialog box appears, enter your filename. Below the file name sits the Save as Type option, click on the downward arrow. This allows access to the dropdown menu. The file can be saved as a Threads TEF native format, DST embroidery format or a PES file. Choose the DST option and save your file. Your embrodery design is now available to you in the DST format.
